WEBSITE MARKETING CASe STUDY:
INGLIS.ORG
-
A fully accessible website (for both visitors as well as back-end users) to allow people with disabilities using adapted technology to navigate the site as visitors but also be fully functional for someone with a disability to manage the site on the back-end.
-
The original Inglis website was out of date, non-compliant with accessibility standards, not to mention, lacking accuracy.
-
The task was to create, on a tight budget, a brand new platform that provided ease of use for managing/updating the site (with the ultimate goal of distributive authoring).
-
We needed to create a site that worked the same way and looked no different regardless of desktop or mobile platform or adapted technology in use.
-
We formulated a clean, simple design; chose to forgo high-end graphics in favor of greater accessibility.
-
The accessible features are not overtly evident; the website just works…which was the ultimate goal.
-
The site was launched when scheduled, and on budget.
